Avant Werx’s Document Werx is the answer to your document management needs.

Although physical space in an organization is often the major constraint, documents still need to be kept for various reasons. Through configuration of a shared directory, Document Werx can be used to pick up scanned documents and automatically deposit the document into Document Werx repository, making conversion of paper documents to electronic documents a breeze.

Workflow is built-in and may be customized, based on the nature of the content, to ensure only approved content is published.

Product Architecture

Document Werx is built on open standards like J2EE( Java 2 Enterprise Edition), XML(Extensible Markup Language) and a MVC(Model-View-Controller) framework. Thus, it is not meant to be a product that will lock in the user to any proprietary format.

Due to the adoption of open standards, Document Werx easily integrates with other existing products that the organization currently may have.

Document Werx is also JSR 168 ready, as a portlet for deploying in JSR 168 compliant Portals.
